  • Perfect location, lovely view, a home from home

We really loved our stay at the apartment. It’s positioned in a great location, just a 10-15 minute stroll from Kotor and a really short drive from Tivat airport. Nearby are also all the amenities you need including a handy little shop downstairs, a lovely coffee bar practically next door and the most amazing bakery less than a minutes’ walk away. What’s more it felt like a really friendly and safe neighbourhood, even late at night and out of the main season. And as for the views -wow! You really can’t beat taking a cup of coffee and a sweet treat from the bakery onto the aparentment balcony and enjoying the amazing panoramic sight of the fjord and mountain - truly spectacular and a view you might expect to pay hefty prices for in lots of other places. As for the apartment itself, it had everything we needed. Lots of clean, lovely bedding and towels and all the kitchen items you could need. Everything had been thought of which helped make our holiday just so relaxed and easy. Being so spacious, the apartment was also a great place to relax in after a busy day in Kotor or at the beach, on the big comfy sofa or the sun loungers for the balcony. Best of all though were the really helpful notes and pointers the owners left for us, giving recommendations to try in the local area, all of which were terrific and a great added bonus that added an authentic feeling you wouldn’t get in a hotel setup. Overall, the apartment was sparklingly clean, it was tidy, it was well cared for and it was comfortable. It really was in so many ways like home from home! Would gladly - and have already - recommended to others.

Great renovated stone house on 3 floors, literally across road from the bay. Great views across the bay to Kotor old town from the kitchen dining area and bedrooms - cruise liners docking most days was an interesting sight. Very clean and well maintained with all the amenities we needed for a great self-catering week and a good base for touring around Montenegro. very good, modern and new en-suite shower/toilet rooms for each of the bedrooms on the second and third floors. Steepish stairs to the bedrooms and showers/toilets so not for those who might find stairs a challenge. Approx 15/20 minutes walk to the old town of Kotor along quite a narrow and moderately busy road - we walked it nearly every day and sometimes twice. Parking available nearby on a first come first served basis but we never really had any difficulties. Small store within 150 yards (selling good range of basics) open from dawn to long after dusk and small pub a little further on. Other pubs within 15 minutes walk. Very relaxing worry-free week!
