Make a holiday rental property or villas in Monaco your home away from home

Monaco is the smallest independent state in the world, nestled on the Mediterranean coast and surrounded by the Alpine foothills of France on three sides. Found on the stunning Cote d’Azur just east ofNice, the weather in Monaco is sublime, the scenery spell binding and the Monaco properties exceedingly luxurious. The principality’s showpiece, the Monaco Grand Prix shows off the very beast of Monaco, from the multi-million Pound yachts that adorn the sheltered harbour to the grandiose buildings of the Place du Casino, and if this doesn’t wet you appetite for taking a Monaco property for this year’s holiday, nothing will!

Things to do in Monaco

Monaco villa holidays are exceedingly glamorous, allowing you to feel like a king as you wake up and take coffee on your balcony overlooking the principality, with the sea stretching off into the distance and the incredible gin-palaces parked in the harbour glistening in the Mediterranean sun. The unashamed wealth on display in Monaco makes for amazing viewing, and you can really feel the money in the air.

The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the world’s most famous sporting spectacles, and although Monaco villas for rent are like absolute gold dust during the Monaco Grand Prix week, it is well worth planning a few years ahead and booking a luxury Monaco property and enjoying the whole week in absolute luxury.

Once you are settled into your Monaco villas, there is a great deal to entertain. The Grand Casino is a beautiful place to play, with all varieties of game, buy-in prices and table on which to gamble, but if you get the distinct feeling that your luck might not be in on a certain night, Monaco has a good supply of excellent restaurants and fine bars in which to enjoy your evening with a little less adrenaline flowing through your veins!

Places to visit on holiday in Monaco

The whole of the French Riviera can be explored from self catering villas in Monaco. Nice, your most likely entry and departure point on a Monaco holiday, is a beautiful city to explore, filled with art galleries, famous museums and internationally renowned restaurants. The white pebble beach is a perfect place to work on your tan too.

Weather in Monaco

The weather in Monaco has helped hugely in attracting the world’s wealthiest people to by Monaco property. The wonderfully hot summer months see daily temperatures soaring into the mid-30’s (?C) on most days from mid-May until late October, perfect conditions for a little sailing, and the amphitheatre shape of the Principality keeps the city of Monte Carlo sheltered from the worst of the weather.

Travel to Monaco

Nice Airport (NCE) is the closest airport to Monaco villas, and receives a great range of inbound flights from the UK on a daily basis. Upon arrival in Nice, there are a good range of options for the onward journey to Monaco just 12km along the Cote d’Azur. Although there are plenty of options to drive, take a bus or take the train (which costs around €45), if you would really like to arrive at your Monaco property in style, there are helicopters leaving Nice Airport for Monaco every twenty minutes or so, taking just 6 minutes and costing around €95, the same as a taxi.

Birthday in Monaco

5 of 5
The place was very clean and kept to a high standard. There was everything we could need to cook, just lacking a toaster but we just used a frying pan to toast our bread. The bed and bedding was all spotless, the sofa turns into a bed was also very comfortable. There were a few downsides to the apartment one of which was purely based on the time we booked the pool was off limits, I've made Sonia aware of this and I believe she's working on getting the pool opened earlier. We weren't aware of all the public lifts that are available that definiately cut out walking time but I'd say the apartment is 20/30 minute walk from Monte Carlo and larvartto beach. The apartment has a convenient store opposite for small items but it's a five minute walk away from supermarkets and bakeries for all your goods. Sonia was very hospitable and accommodated to our early check in and check out times meaning we didn't have to trot our suitcases around with us. Peter the caretaker was very insightful and gave us a lot of advice. I would definitely book again!
