Sun and Peaceful Tranquility in Gozo

5 of 5
From the moment we arrived in Gozo we were well looked after by Joe and his wife and made to feel welcome in their beautiful house. The outside courtyard and pool areas were adorned with flowers and the interior of the house was so tastefully furnished. The whole house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. We spent most of our time enjoying the pool area, looking out to sea with the spectacular sunsets. Although the house is handily situated a couple of minutes walk from the lovely village of San Lawrenz, with a good shop for day to day provisions, we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. From the villa, we walked ( 20-25 mins downhill) to the Inland Sea area which was fascinating and had an enjoyable lunch in the Azure Restaurant before taking the bus back. Although a car is necessary if you want to explore the island and do bulkier shopping, we were easily able to book taxis for two nights out so didn't need to drive the whole time. The remaining nights we took advantage of the BBQ and enjoyed our dinner watching the sun go down with a glass of Maltese wine. Our entire party, young and older loved it and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Very nice farmhouse

5 of 5
We stayed at the farmhouse for the first 2 weeks in june, Jesmond. met us at the farmhouse and showed us round, the farmhouse was lovely and very spacious, lots of charm, the pool which was private was very deep, my husband and I spent many a happy hour cooling down in the pool, the farmhouse was very clean and had everything we needed. We didn't hire a car as there was a bus stop outside the farmhouse that will take you into Victoria, the bus comes once an hour. It was just a short walk into the village with plenty of places to eat. We mainly went to the Rangers bar very friendly people and good food. Overall we had a fantastic time. Jesmond was very helpful and friendly helping us out with transfers and any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again it was so peaceful and quiet. Hope to go back soon.
