It was our family first trip to stay in a homestay style in Ipoh. The experience is fantastic, nice & clean place, parking is the most challenging issue in Ipoh, but Octagon solve all the problem, it's walking distance to all food places, even Concubine Lane if you want to. From booking till check out, everything done smoothly, the host is friendly and helpful too. Will recommend to friends and definitely will come back again!

Flexible check-in time. Owner was accommodative to our late check-in. I feel the property is lacking of greens inside the house, perhaps, may consider to install water filter. Also, the master bedroom is lacking of a TV so that the master bedroom do not look too empty. Love the well equipped kitchen and complimentary coffee. A few issues I wish to highlight are :- (1) The property can only accommodate a maximum of 8 pax for 4 rooms. It cannot be more than 8 adults. (2) water pressure in the level 1 is rather weak, perhaps, should address this issue. (3) we found something or a device located in the dining area at the corner near the basin, is there a CCTV device installed? Hope the tenant is given full privacy and it's about trust between the tenant and the owner. (4) Ceiling fans in each room is highly recommended as not all would love to sleep in an air con for beauty and health reason. This may also help to cut down the high consumption of electricity if the air con is not in use.
