  • Nice apartment and location

We were late in the season for skiing in April, but still skied in Cortina (no snow left locally). The accomodation was compact, which might be awkward for big people. But it was warm and fully functional, with awesome views over the village and valley. The apartment has its own boiler for hot water and central heating, which you pay extra for gas (cost us 14€ for one week). During our stay the hosts were nice and friendly, giving us information on local things of interest. But they did not bother us all the time. The area was blissfully quiet at night with great views of the stars in the sky. There is nice local supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, ski hire in the main street. Access may be awkward in heavy snow as the road is steep, but worth the effort.

  • Alessandra's apartment is large and well equipped with a long balcony full of geraniums.

Communication with Alessandra was very good. We enjoyed having the space - it made it very restful. The apartment is slightly outside Cortina which we enjoyed because Cortina can be very very busy. It's a perfect place for Summer hiking with many walks within easy reach. We would very happily return to stay again. Stuart and Elly
