Clean, newly built house

4 of 5
We booked the house last minute for three nights as our flight back to the UK was cancelled. The house is newly built to a good standard and very clean, although there is some work still to do, for example, the back garden isn't really a garden yet. I wouldn't say the house is close to the beach as it's on the wrong side of the railway tracks, but we drove and managed to find parking reasonably easily. Gian Marco is extremely helpful and was happy to provide some things he hadn't though of as there had only been a couple of renters before us. He also provided a fan, but the house is absolutely boiling and even with the fan we struggled to sleep at all. The major downside for us and anyone else travelling by air (particularly cabin bags only like us), is that there is usually no towels or bed linen provided. We managed to find some pillow cases and bottom sheets, but there was nothing for the top of the small bed - although as it was so hot, we didn't actually need anything over us. Gian Marco kindly dropped some towels off for us, but I think this was as a favour because we didn't have anything - this wouldn't usually be provided. Some sun loungers for the top terrace would be welcome.

We loved the flat. It was in an ideal location and we enjoyed having the balcony

This apartment is in a great location ten minutes walk from the beach. It is close to many restaurants and shops. The station and two supermarkets are within walking distance too. Car parking is free in the street. Our flight was badly delayed and Massimo had to wait until 10pm for us. He is a lovely man and very helpful. We would come again.
