My husband and I had a lovely 10 day stay at this holiday home. The house is well decorated, clean, spacious and homely. The bedrooms have lots of hanging space and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied and beautifully finished. By far our favourite area of the property was the outside deck with views over the idyllic mountain landscapes & beautifully, well kept garden.
Our mornings started with a nice coffee from the espresso maker in the kitchen (which also makes a great cappuccino!) followed by breakfast on the deck. Then off to explore one of the local towns, Erula or Perfugas, which are both a short drive away and have great shops for veg, cheese, bread, wine & gellato! Not to mention some very delicious local restaurants. There are also lots of amazing beaches within about 30 mins drive of the property to explore.
At the end of the day it was great to retreat to this tranquil location where we could listen to nature and watch the stars on the deck loungers with a glass of local wine and/or Mirto.
Thank you to our lovely hosts who were very welcoming and had an abundance of local knowledge on the surrounding areas. We had a lovely time.
We absolutely loved our stay with Chris and Jill who were charming and unobtrusive hosts. The property is very spacious and well appointed with a good kitchen, large living area and plenty of space outside to stretch out. It also has a large orchard where we could help ourselves to lots of fresh fruit and enjoy the decent sized above-ground pool. The property is located about a mile outside a small village amongst farmland about 30 minutes from Sassari and the coast. Being the only guests, we enjoyed absolute peace less for the gentle clanking of the sheep's bells in the neighbouring fields. We really appreciated the nice touches like the generous welcome pack of food and drink and the small gifts, such as dried figs and fresh eggs, left outside our door in the morning. All in all, it was a great experience to stay in a genuienly unspoilt part of Sardinia where we could completely unwind.
