Wonderful holiday, very generous accommodation but does need air conditioning!

5 of 5
The apartment is superbly located a short walk from Syracuse Cathedral, all the restaurants & shops on the island of Ortigia plus a good range of small supermarkets practically next door. The large, superbly equipped apartment is on the second floor with an internal glass staircase to the 2nd bedroom & sunny terrace -though the staircase has only one handrail so possible not for the nervous or suitable for children. The main drawback is the lack of air conditioning; we were there in September with temperatures in the mid to high 80s and we had to use the fan all night in the bedroom.

Excellent villa for stay in Siracusa

5 of 5
This is a lovely villa equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It really is a home from home. Gabriello is an excellent host. He provides all the information you need and gave us a tour of Ortigia when we arrived pointing out restaurants and shops as well as points of interest. Took us to the best car park and explained the local rules around driving in Ortigia in the evenings. The property is an excellent base for visits to Etna, Noto, Ragusa etc. A car is essential, but there is plenty of room to securely park and the villa is easy to find. Highly recommend if you wish to visit this region of Sicily. Finally a real bonus is the lovely pool and gardens.
