Villa Maria is perfect!

5 of 5
As Germans, we enjoyed our stay in Villa Maria very much. The villa is clean and nice, very spacious with three sleeping rooms, a sitting room and a kitchen. The kitchen is well equiped, and we prepared our food there. Further, the villa has a nice roof terrace with a beautiful outlook on the surrounding mountains. There are balconies and a nice big garden, where you can sit between lemon, banana and orange trees. In the surrounding area there are many shops and restaurants at walking distance (3 minutes). Further, there are nice swimming pools close to the villa, where you can swim in sulphuric mineral water. A very special experience for us! The centre of Rome is reachable in only half an hour by train, by bus or by car. The owners have been very friendly with us. We will certainly return to Villa Maria

Villa Elena - a great time!

5 of 5
My family, consisting of my husband, two daughters, two sons-in-law and two grandchildren, stayed at this villa for a week. We all loved it! It is exactly as described on the website, although I would agree with a previous reviewer that the living room is actually bigger than it looks online. We subsequently discovered that all the beds were comfortable, the showers worked really well, with lots of hot water and the whole villa was well equipped and spacious. The views from the terraces, especially the top one, were fantastic and the pool a welcome relief from the heat at the end of the day. It is in quite a rural location but we didn't mind this at all. A couple of nights we heard some dogs barking, which kept a couple of us awake. However, it is quite hard to find anything wrong with this villa - the only problem we had was that there isn't a shallow end to the pool so it was more difficult for my 5 year grandson to enjoy - but he still had a great time. If we came to this area again, I would definitely stay again and would be quite happy to recommend it to friends. Thank you to the owners for sharing!
