Bellissima Monticiano

5 of 5
In Italy for a wedding near by, this was the perfect base to explore this corner of Tuscany. Our host Beatrice, and her Husband, could not have been more helpful, the property has ell the basics we needed for our stay plus a beautiful terrace to enjoy the Tuscan countryside. Monticiano is a small but beautifully formed village, we had our hair done at the local salon for the wedding, the two ladies were wonderful. There's a small but well stocked supermarket, a great wine bar, restaurants... Everyone we met could not have been more friendly. Planning to return, it was a wonderful break! Highly recommend!

A traditional town home, with many home comforts

4 of 5
The accommodation was spacious and had most domestic facilities provided. It does not have air conditioning however, and as the temperatures reached 40 degrees C, a fan or two would have been welcome. It is also in a busy residential corner, which means that there is quite a lot of noise from surrounding traffic, neighbours, church bells etc. but the ambience was comfortable.
