Spacious contemporary property - stunning setting

5 of 5
Fantastic, spacious property in Selci (worth noting the property is in Selci - just a few miles from Forano where this site lists the property as being). Just as the photos showed, the layout was on a few levels and was well equipped and contemporary. Large, stylish en-suite bathrooms and plenty of clean bedding. The gardens provided a quiet sheltered area and the beautiful pool area was modern and well thought out with shades and plenty of loungers - and a stunning sunset view each day. The two Riccardos - one the manager based in Rome, the other a local, provided excellent service and appeared a few times to check all was ok and to answer any questions. L'Angoletto Restaurant was walkable and café/ bars too. There was a local shop with everything you could need and a friendly, knowledgeable butcher. Nearby Forano has a big Conad supermarket. A perfect place to base yourself to visit the amazing local area and wonderful restaurants. The property and pool had stunning views across the hills and made for a tranquil setting and great holiday. Many thanks!

Amazing property and plot of land with a few flaws

4 of 5
Let me start by saying the property and the plot and the setting is absolutely stunning - well equipped and a fantastic size pool. If I'm honest the negatives didn't spoil our stay but need to be mentioned. The pool as stated is not right next to the house so if you have children be prepared to have to be at the pool every time they want to be. Noisy guard dogs on site - they are always fenced off but seem to like to bark a lot at 4 oclock in the morning for about 20 minutes which was really annoying. Showers weren't great could do with the heads upgrading. Beds were a bit hard but you tend to get that most places in Europe. Being the country side lots of mosquitoes but that can't be helped.
