We enjoyed our stay at Casa Ida in Putzu Idu in October. Rita and her husband were very helpful and always on whatsapp if we needed anything. We were very lucky with weather, the temperature was 25 degrees almost every day. Our sons often played on the beach nearby and watched the fishermen snorkeling. We hired a car so we could get around the island and also to get to the property from the airport. We visited few beaches and a Miniature Park of Sardinia which seems to be open throughout the year. Kids loved it there, especially the dinosaurs exhibition. We climbed the Marmilla castle nearby. By the end of the day it was nice to sit down on the terrace and just to enjoy the quiet and peaceful environment. Although not a lot is open in that time of year we didn't mind as much. The scenery made up for it. There is a small local shop but we usually traveled to a shopping center in Oristano to get food and other bits. The villa had everything we needed. Wifi was hit and miss but that didn't bother us. I hope other visitors will enjoy their stay as much as we did.

Maria Theresa has created the perfect holiday home. I think she has poured a lot of thought and love into the house - and it shows. The house itself is beautiful - and very spacious for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers). We really enjoyed the different outside spaces for bbq-ing, relaxing and taking in the endless sea view. There was a very helpful set of notes about the house and the surrounding area. There was plenty to explore; I loved the variety of different beaches within a short walk/drive - from the creek of su riu (perfect for snorkelling) to the picture-perfect white beaches of the sinis pinisula and the waves of arenas - as well as a stunning mountain walk and the winding streets of bosa.
