Country house

5 of 5
We had a lovely stay in this rustic country house, it was very characteristic and well equipped. The bathrooms were small and the shower on the ground floor was better than on first floor. Amazing views and walks in the grounds. Susanna was a great host, she gave us enough food for our first meal, amazing olive oil from her trees and a wonderful chocolate cake. You do need a car and can then explore the beautiful towns and villages in the area.

Get away in the Umbrian hills

5 of 5
The house is beautiful and full of character. The view from the terrace is spectacular, on a clear day you can see Lago Trasemeno. The place is clean, tidy and decorated nicely, and the owners are very accommodating. The area with local towns of montegabione and Citta della pieve is very typical of the region with authentic rural charm and friendly people, and of course the cuisine. Perugia is not too far away either with it's warren of medieval streets and old buildings. A great base for further travel in the region, we will surely return for another stay.
