we stayed a while ago in this extremely well located apartment ; it is the combination of the location- literally in the shadow of the Pantheon- and the quietness ( you actually hear nothing but some birds) that make this place so unique. In a rather shabby little street you get access to the apartment through a beautiful green door with polished copper details. After approx. 60 steps -no there is no elevator- you enter the beautifully decorated apartment that easily sleeps 4 ( two large bedrooms and two rather small but well equipped bathrooms). If you decide not to take your morning coffee in one of the excellent bars in the neighboring streets, you can take advantage of the kitchen and do the coffee routine ( or cook a complete meal if you feel like doing that) yourself. In the adjacent living room , a very large and another large sofa allow you to sit back and relax after another buzzy day in ancient Rome. And if you want, you can even step outside and enjoy the small yet inviting terrace!! candles lights make the romantic picture complete. obviously, there is room for improvement: the floor isn't exactly what you would be looking for , but I understand from the owner that overtime, together with more improvements, this issue will be tackled . So all in all , great experience and a place to come back to.

Lovely apartment close to Vatican, restaurants...

5 of 5
We had a lovely short break, staying in Paola's apartment. She was very helpful, welcoming and sorted out a restaurant for us on our first night when we arrived late - even taking us there herself! The rooms are beautiful, well furnished with all you could need. Lovely bakery/café just opened very close buy with cakes to die for. Rome itself is just amazing - we walked miles, used the local buses and found everyone helpful and welcoming. Thank you Paola!
