Great People, Excellent accommodation, Beautiful grounds,

Beautiful 17th Century restored villa. The gardens and grounds were very impressive. Our host was very helpful and spoke English quite well. The rental had the use of a winter garden room on the ground floor. The kitchen and rooms were upstairs. There were 2 bedrooms one with an on-suite bathroom and a third loft bedroom above the kitchen-living room area. There is a fire place you can use, a functioning fully equipped kitchen, 2 sofas and kitchen table. Also a dishwasher and a second washroom off the living area. It was in a convenient location, close to grocery stores, Verona and Vicenca.

Stunning property in great location for exploring Venice, Lake Garda, Verona and North East Italy

Property This is a modern and high standard villa with exceptional quality fixtures and fittings. On the ground floor there is an a large open plan area for kitchen, dining and lounge and which leads out onto a a veranda with stunning views over the village and Italian countryside south towards Venice and the coast. The veranda has a an electrically operated sunshade and good quality table and chairs - great for a leisurely breakfast or supper. The kitchen is equipped to a very high standard with plenty of crockery, utensils and glassware. Double sinks, oven, microwave, drinks chiller, large fridge freezer - really everything you could want. Also on the ground floor is a separate bathroom and double bedroom with en suite. The first floor has an open landing well protected by glass banisters with double and twin bedrooms and shared bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms have french windows that open out onto small veranda's. Beds were comfortable and there is adequate wardrobe and dressing table storage. There was free wi-fi and Sky and utilities were included. Outside there is pleasant garden with a variety of small fruit trees and a car port to keep your car out of the sun. Entrance the property is via electrically operated gates for which the owner provides you with a key fob. There is a lower ground floor to the property which appeared to be occupied by an older gentleman who we saw watering his plants once or twice and never heard. This shares the gated entrance but has separate building entrance, garage etc. Owner When we arrived we were greeted by Laura and her husband who were really friendly and helpful. There was a lovely tray of essentials and goodies in the kitchen and a bottle of wine in the fridge. We were invited to help ourselves to any fruit or vegetables growing in the garden and throughout the week eggs, vegetables and fruit would be left by the front door. The owners father comes from time to time to cut the grass and attend to the fruit trees but was also really friendly. Really fantastic hosts who were very welcoming but not at all intrusive. Location The villa is situated at the foot of Monte Grappa with beautiful views over the Italian countryside. There is a small supermarket in the village but generally we had to drive to get bread and provisions. The villa is set in it's own grounds with no direct neighbours and is not overlooked. Overall superb - cannot recommend highly enough.
