  • Rustic Tuscan seclusion.

We loved every minute of our stay. We traveled with a 7 month old and had no problem. The property is tucked away up in the Tuscan hills (I recommend arriving in daylight on your first day), yet it is only 25 minutes drive from the many Lidos and free beaches that this area has to offer (Camaiore, Pietresanta, Viareggio and so on). The views are awesome over the coast. You can sit outside and watch the world go silently by below you. The interior is tastefully decorated and contained all that we needed. You can open the windows in the morning, let the fresh air flow in and look down on the coastline in the morning Sun. The hot tub was clean as was the house. The bedrooms were a good size, the kitchen catered for our needs, (the fridge is big). Sarah (property manager) was always on hand, by phone (we used text mainly), to answer any of our questions and give us advice on the local area, including any markets or events that were taking place. Even before we arrived, the contact we had with Sibilla was quick, easy and informative. A word of note, the WiFi was fast enough for us, but remember you are up in the hills so do not expect 100mbps like you get in your city/town dwelling. Our phone signal was fine so we were able to use our 4G if needed and make calls. Pisa, Lucca, multiple national parks, Orrechiella being one, Cinque Terra, Florence, Livorno are all reachable for a day/evening out. The local people are so friendly and this made our holiday with the little one even more special. They would always engage with her as she flapped her hands and shouted with her new found voice. There is a plethora of cafes, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and clothes shops down by the lidos and in the local towns and villages. I cannot recommend this place enough and I cannot thank the friendly and generous people enough for making our time here relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Lots of love from Andy, Toria and ickle Phoebe.XXX

  • Best rental I've ever had

I have been rather reluctant to review Casa Tua since my stay there this summer for fear it might get overbooked and will not be available for our next visit! This villa is seriously fantastic, it sleeps and has enough space inside and out for eight people to live in great comfort. It is very well appointed and if something is missing or not working, just one phone call, and within half an hour it’s fixed. The housekeeping is impeccable, everything is clean and well maintained and works properly. Also, most importantly the beds and bedrooms are very comfortable. The pool is large and there is plenty of space around it with sunbeds and chairs. The villa is very peaceful and quiet surrounded by olive trees, above the town up a steep winding hill but only 6 minutes into the town, where it is easy to shop. Camaiore is a very good place to be based, less than an hour to Pisa airport, 40 minutes to beaches lots to see and do in the area as well as some very good restaurants. A very fine and happy chef is available at an extra cost, and her cooking exceptionally good. The owner and all the staff obviously want you to be happy and enjoy your stay in their house. What more can one say? Well I’ve just booked it again for next year!!
