Centrally located, well equipped and modern apartment.

5 of 5
We were very pleased with our stay here. The owner and her keyholder were both very helpful , flexible and easy to communicate with. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the complementary fruit basket and a few nespresso capsules and tea bags to get you started were a great touch! The location couldn't really be better if you want to be in the centre of Siena - everything you might want to see in the city is less than a 15 minute walk away. There are 5 restaurants of varying styles and price points within 60 seconds walk, so you don't have to go far to get some supper. You can also park easily at the nearby multistory parcheggio (just outside the controlled traffic zone) from where you can be on the main road to visit other places very easily. The only downside of being so central is that it is not a quiet location - but you can't have a everything on your doorstep and complete silence! So if you are a light sleeper, take earplugs and you will be fine. Highly recommended.

A wonderful place for a holiday

5 of 5
We had a lovely 10 day stay in Capanna. Right from the first communication with Anna, everything was perfect. The house is very well equipped and situated in the most beautiful place, on hills with stunning views - over Siena in one direction and to the hills of Chianti in the other. We loved sitting out on the terrace in the evenings and ate all our meals outside. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. There is everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen has all the utensils and gadgets you will need for cooking delicious meals. The pool is beautiful and large with loads of sun beds. It is about a 10 minute walk from Capanna which was quite a trek in the heat, but we saw it as a chance to walk off those calories! The nearest supermarket is about a 10 minute drive away (5 minutes once you get off the Larnionane estate) and has everything you need. The house and estate provide a great base to explore Tuscany - we visited Siena (beautiful), Florence (hot, touristy and crowded but can recommend the Uffizi - do book ahead online to avoid the queues - and the monastery of San Marco) which we went to on the train (very easy to park at the train station for 2 euros per day and then an hour and a half journey, San Gimignano (great for shopping) and Montalcino (amazing views). Tullio and Paula are delightful and very keen to help you to have a good holiday. They were so helpful. We were very impressed that the house was thoroughly cleaned and all the linens changed half way through our stay. We can recommend Capanna, and Tenuta Larnionane very much.
