  • Incredibly special unforgettable home

We can't say enough good things about this beautiful home. The situation is absolutely beautiful with huge mountains all around. The home is very stylishly put together with the old structure of the home plus all the modern fittings you could need. Our international group had everything they needed from coffee makers to kid toys. Wanne is very kind and helped with small things that came up. The one thing I would say is that it's very isolated. Sarnano (beautiful) is not that far away but the road doesn't have tarmac and is very hilly. So not for those who don't like a bit of a rural stay. Thanks for everything it was truly amazing.

  • Wish there were more than 5 stars for this magical property!!!

A couple of years ago, my husband began looking for a specific type of property to rent in Italy...the hills of Le Marche specifically. It had to have sufficient bedrooms/bathrooms to accommodate some of our interested friends, it had to be beautiful and comfortable, it had to have the feeling of old Italy without the difficult plumbing, heating, and appliances issues....have had them all in the past! This house ticked all the boxes and then some! When you sit at the table with your coffee in the pleasant summer morning and gaze out at Mt Vittore and the Sibillini Range, listening to the bees and birds, stillness otherwise, you have arrived in heaven!! We had a total of 19 friends visit with us over the six week rental period, and everyone felt as we place like it!! We found that the people and services in Comunanza were very prices and availability at Conad and Tigre were very good. We got used to obtaining only local and seasonal fruits and veg...nothing from Chile or Mexico with high mileage on them! I actually got back into cooking again with the local produce! We explored up and down the coast of the Adriatic which has so many interesting hill towns and beach towns. You just have to realize that this area is not really touristy...a plus to us...and that weekends can be tricky to get restaurant reservations and beach umbrellas/chaises. The locals hold sway. The farmers markets are great for not only produce but cooked items and dry goods! Lovely people too! I could write volumes about this place and the surrounding areas, but you should treat yourself and go explore. Magical.....
