Very nice clean house with drinksble water from the tub, perfect for a family, wonderful oliveorchard with old caves underneath, hot springs in 10 Minutes drive, 2000 ore more years old stone street 100m from the house (Via franchigena) - you can do a lot of pilgrim-watching enjoying breakfast in front of your holiday home. We sure will be there again to watch the open fire! - And oh! You are not so much into holiday cooking? Great Pizza&Burgerplace close by (Blue Tomato)

A Wolf in sheep's clothing!

My wife and I caught the early morning shuttle from Ashford and arrived in Mont Blanc early evening where we stayed in a very reasonably priced hotel. We left the following morning and arrived in Montefiascone late afternoon. We were losing light as we drove into the Via Bandita, the Villa stood high on our left with huge double doors to the side and a Cheese shop which as we found out later was hosting some of the best local cheeses I have ever tasted. The front door opens to a magnificent marble staircase leading to a first floor with an enormous medieval studio and bedroom overlooking lake Bolesena. The top floor is beautifully furnished with art everywhere you look. I really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen especially on gas. However the garden and terraces are exactly what you dream about, the perfect way to relax with beautiful views over the lake and a perfect restaurant only a 100yards away. The coffee shop in the main Piazza is a five minute walk with wifi and great coffee for just 1euro. I really didn't want to come home!
