The villa was nice and we enjoyed our stay there. The villa offers a lot of space, is beautifully located and is nicely furnished and equipped (esp. the oriental details). Claudio, the owner of the property, was very kind and helpful. Proximity to the beach is a great plus Thanks for all your help and asisstance J. B

Wonderful, memorable stay in the heart of Tuscany

5 of 5
We loved our stay at Colletalli, and the property provided an ideal base to explore all of the various regions of Tuscany. The house was exactly as described and located in the Tuscan countryside down a long gravel road just outside of the small, charming town of Radicondoli. Since it is in the countryside, we encountered numerous "nature" visitors including deer, a herd of sheep (and their watchful, but friendly sheepdog), and other various insects, etc. The house was far larger than imagined, and could easily host an entire family. Luca (the owner) met us at the house and showed us around, and took the time to walk us through a map of the surrounding area and recommendations for things to do / places to eat. He even surprised us with a bottle of prosecco and a delicious cake baked by his wife as we were celebrating our anniversary. We took advantage of the kitchen and arranged to have a private chef come and prepare dinner, and spent many of our afternoons and evenings relaxing in the stunning and tranquil setting. The house also had a sauna and steam-shower that added to the spa-like atmosphere. Radicondoli was a 10 minute drive up a winding hill from the house, and had 3 restaurant options and a small market for groceries. Other, larger towns were also within 20-30 minutes drive from the house, with Siena about 50 minutes drive. It was a perfect and relaxing weeks-long stay at Il Fienile di Colletalli, and we can't wait to visit again.
