  • Charming and characterful house with stunning views.

We stayed here for 9 nights. Pietro very helpful, and prompt in answering any questions we had. He also arranged for us to be met when we realised that we wouldn’t arrive until midnight. The house is charming and full of character. Every room has incredible views of Lake Como which you will not tire of! Great terrace for eating/sitting out and enclosed gardens for the children to play in. We ate in most evenings (children are 7 and 5) and the kitchen had everything we needed. Sparkling bed linen and towels. Our bed was great, the children’s bed frames were a bit saggy (mattresses new though) - but to be fair they didn’t notice too much. Our five year old counted 141 (ish!) steps from the house to the road where the parking is. However he managed them fine every time - except on arrival in the middle of the night when he was fast asleep. You then walk down through the main part of the village to get to the lake front and the ferry pier. A lovely place to stay.

  • Peaceful, beautiful spot, great Customer Service

This small resort of 9 apartments has amazing views across Lake Como with a family friendly setting, lovely garden area with tables/seats and very comfortable loungers on the waterfront. There is a communal lounge area apart from the apartments where there is plenty of information, a library of books, some necessities (drinks/coffee/wine/beers etc with an honesty system in place.) Eric and his team are on site regularly and regularly checking with guests about any assistance/information etc that they require...we found this most helpful. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and had a great view as well. There are fans upstairs and downstairs and the bathroom and kitchen had everything we required. Ferry dock about 300 meters from the resort, and regular bus service up at Pognana Lario village which is great value. Be prepared wherever you are in Lake Como for steep climbs as any villages not right on the lakeshore are situated up the side of steep hills....some have lifts, and this resort has a lift that partially does the trick. A restful, welcoming resort, with visitors/guests that we met who had stayed there before; a recommendation in itself. Thanks Eric and the team for a lovely stay!
