A perfect countryside cottage!

5 of 5
The accommodation had a beautiful homemade feel and we felt very welcomed by Mario and his family. He was in all ways the perfect host (even if we did communicate through my broken German and sign language). The property is well in the middle of nowhere so make sure you know exactly how to find it and beware of the narrow winding roads. However, once you got there it was immediately worth the journey!

Family holiday at the charming Sa Perda apartments

5 of 5
We're a family with 3 kids aged 3 to 8 and picked Elisabetta's Sa Perda apartments for the 5 days of our Sardinia vacation spent on the East coast in early May. What helped us with our decision was the beautiful pictures of these charming apartments and the extremely positive reviews we've read about the place and about Elisabetta herself. Not to mention her excellent English, as we hardly speak or understand any Italian. It has to be said that we were very happy with our choice of accommodation. The welcome was warm, the apartment with two terraces and a garden really nice and clean and we got all the information about the apartment and the area we could wish for. Elisabetta gave us some advice on things to do and places to visit of her own and answered all our questions about activities we had in mind from before. She even looked up for some information she wasn't sure of. A high speed wifi access was arranged for us on request and free of charge, plus we were offered some other extras also free of charge. The apartment was not huge, but we spent most of our days outside and could manage even with three small kids. Perhaps it should be noted that bed linen and towels are not included in the price of accommodation, so either bring your own or count in an additional charge, which is reasonably priced. There's a nice sand beach just minutes away from the apartment on foot and there's a number of other really nice beaches which can be reached in 15 minutes car ride or less. We spent an afternoon on Cea, which was really beautiful, and Elisabetta said Lido Orri is also fantastic but we didn't manage to visit it. What we did do, was an easy 5km (one way) hike from S. Maria Navarrese to Pedra Longa, which is not to great for swimming but extremely panoramic, and a somewhat more demanding hike to Cala Goloritze, which, as the whole family agreed, was one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. All in all, we've had a really nice holiday at Sa Perda and would definitely recommend it to our friends. Thank you, Elisabetta!
