A little slice of Chianti

5 of 5
We spent a week at this house in Sept. The house is lovely and as described, it felt very homely and was well stocked (e.g kitchen utensils, bbq coal). The gardens are perhaps a little smaller than they appear in the picture, but it is still more than enough space and very private. A car is essential if staying here as the nearest town is nearly 10mins drive. All rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are well presented and clean. The house manager (Oliva) was always contactable if needed, and provided a very nice (but expensive) dinner for us upon arrival late night. We were without WiFi for 3 days due to a storm, not the end of the work but would have been better to have it sorted out more quickly than it was. Overall we loved our time here and would have no hesitation in recommending this house.

Lovely, peaceful property for a grown-up holiday in Tuscany.

Sandra and Paul are the perfect hosts and they have restored the cottages beautifully. Everything for your comfort has been thought of and the property is immaculate. You are far enough into the countryside for peace and quiet yet only ten minutes drive to the nearest supermarket. There is plenty to do from visiting the local towns to walking up the hills or relaxing by the pool. The pool itself is lovely with a spectacular view across the valley to Arezzo. We have no hesitation in recommending the cottages at La Torre - you will not be disappointed! By the way, we were talking to friends about our holiday after we got back and they started to tell us about a fabulous place they'd stayed in near Arezzo. We were amazed when we realised they were talking about La Torre as well. So that's two lots of satisfied clients!
