Our host was more than helpful and the property was far better than anticipated. Thoroughly recommended.

Myself and my family have just returned from a two week stay at Villa Aurora. There were four of us all together, two adults and two children (11 years and 15 years) From the moment we arrived we knew that we were going to have a wonderful time. Villa Aurora and the grounds are beautiful and the views are amazing. We were greeted by the owner Gaetano when we arrived and were shown where we were staying. We stayed in Panorama which is a small one bedroom house separate from the main villa. There was a sofa bed and chair bed in the living room which was ideal for the children and the accommodation provided plenty of room for a family of four. We were then invited to the main villa and were introduced to Aurora who offered us cold drinks and snacks, which was very welcome after a day travelling. The views are breathtaking. From the villa there is a sea view and views of the Amalfi Coast and the town of Agropoli. Villa Aurora is all about relaxation and it was certainly that. The setting was so peaceful and the pool was quiet. Some days we were the only ones using it!!! Guetano and Aurora were amazing hosts and so generous. We were allowed to pick tomatoes, aubergines, cucumbers, figs, basil, parsley (the list goes on) which are all grown in the garden and taste amazing. There are numerous towns/villages within 10 minutes drive where we sampled the Italian cuisine. We were surprised by how cheap it was to eat out (€5 for pizza) and didn't have a bad meal the whole time we were there. Aurora is an amazing cook and we sampled lots of her food and snacks during our stay. She would bring out cakes or croissants to us at the pool and cold drinks. They offer an evening meal during your stay where you can sample traditional Italian cuisine using ingredients grown by the owners or local to the region. This was 6 courses including wine and we were absolutely stuffed, but every single course was delicious. We were a bit woried when we booked that the children would be bored but there was plenty to do. They spent the majority of their time in the pool or on the beach. There is plenty to do and see while you're there. We had a day in Pompeii, visited the Amalfi Coast and had a morning on Gaetano's friends boat, where he took us to a little island called Isola Licosa, where we dived off the boat and swam in the crystal clear sea. I would definitely return to Villa Aurora and would rate it as one of the best family holidays we have had.
