This villa is great and we would happily go back. To be clear, if you demand certain things, the house may not be for you, but those are stated in the listing.
We went at the start of August--it was really hot, obviously--and there is no air conditioning. The third floor was pretty warm, although sleeping was okay. If you require a pool, this is not for you. Also, it is about an hour drive from the beach, so again, consider that. It is reasonably isolated, so you will need a car. The town of Francavilla in Sini is 10km down the hill.
That said, it met our needs and more. It is located in Potenza, which is not a heavy tourist area, which is a good thing, but it is beautiful. You are right in the largest national park in Italy. There is abundant hiking in the area. We also drove to beaches on both sides of Italy, which was great.
The house is big, very big. There were five of us (2 adults; 3 teenagers). There was always enough space, to the extent that there was one wing of the house we didn't even use. The facilities are very good, including the gym and spa.
We were hosted by Maria (who was wonderful) and Andy (the custodian and also terrific). Maria gave us some excellent suggestions, including a local restaurant on the first night we arrived, where we simply told them we had two vegetarians and three meat eaters, after which the food just kept coming.
Maria arranged for us to have pizza cooked in our own pizza oven for one dinner, which was a really good meal and something I'd absolutely recommend.
The villa has its own 'guard' dog; a super friendly canine who sat outside the front gate to welcome us home each day, but never came inside the gate.
Make sure you talk to them ahead of time to clarify meeting places etc, as the house is hard to find the first time. While some of the arrangements and discussions were difficult because of language differences, we were able to get everything sorted out and the team was very helpful. Maria could not have been more accommodating.
Overall, I'd strongly recommend this place, whether you just want to relax with a good book and enjoy the views, or whether you want to have a central location to explore southern Italy.

We had a brilliant week in glorious sunshine (4 adults, 3 children). The pool was awesome and the house met all our needs. We ate freshly cooked pizza in Francesco's grotto, collected eggs with Laura and enjoyed fabulous meals of local produce by the pool. We'd highly recommend this authentic Italian experience .
