Fantastic stay in an amazing apartment

5 of 5
We stayed for a week and had a fantastic time, helped by the hospitality of the owner Fabio and his family. The garden and grounds are wonderful and the pool is in an amazing location with enough room to swim and play. The apartment is first rate, with everything you need for a great stay. The air con was a real bonus as it was 30-35 every day when we were there in August. Very welcome. The apartment is in an amazing location with views across olive groves, and the valley to Florence and it's within easy reach of Florence by train (15-20 mins) from the local village. Fabio was a great host and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you Fabio for a wonderful stay. We had an amazing time.

Why we loved it:- Absolutely out standing! Beautiful area, amazing facilities, truly compassionate hosts. Beatrice and her family where fascinating, colourful people who where extremely accommodating serving us food by the pool with a generous amount of home made wine! Real talk:- WiFi was not too bad, quick! But don't expect coverage when you are at the pool or in certain areas of the house, this is a relic of a by gone era not a modern office (which isn't a bad thing) The road to get to the house is a little sketchy simply as its a bit of a dirt path with uneven rocks etc. Wbe. You get hang a few times its ok (only about 500 metres of dodgey road. Don't be put of by my gripes, this is a place with character, space and luxury in spades.
