We are a family of four staying in Riva for a sailing event that my 15 year old daughter was competing in: Villa Angelica suited us perfectly - we stayed in Umberto Eco which is very comfortable and plenty of room for us with the kids having a room each. We hired bikes and found that the villa is the perfect compromise - close enough to be in Riva in 2 minutes by bike and far enough away to escape the crowds. The garden is very spacious and quiet and a pleasure to sit in and read and enjoy the sun. The owners are perfect hosts - among other things organised pizzas for delivery and baked a gorgeous cake for us. There are good facilities for clothes washing downstairs and a place to park the car. It is also very safe and secure so we never had to even think about locking up the bikes! We will be back and I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

                                Amazing place to stay

My wife, daughter and I stayed for a week in this historic villa. The apartment was very clean and impeccably decorated. The grounds were delightful - the views - the statues - the flowers in the parklike setting were really amazing. Angelica, Rafael and Maria were very friendly and helped us with all details of the villa and getting to know the area. It was an incredible holiday - with so much to do in the town and surrounding area. We highly recommend a stay and we look forward to returning. Neil McKay
