Lovely apartment for two

5 of 5
Anna Maria's apartment is adorably cosy - perfect for two, catering to our little holiday splendidly. It even has a balcony! Everything was clean and Anna Maria was very kind and conscientious, even picking us up from the station! Unfortunately there was no WiFi. It isn't in the centre of town, but only 6min walk to the station and 20min walk into town. (Note the apartment is higher up than town so there are a lot of steps!) La Spezia has a host of restaurants and shops and the harbour is pretty but we would recommend spending at least a day travelling through the Cinque Terre. Would thoroughly recommend!

Idyllic setting and views, friendly hosts, beautiful house

5 of 5
Beautiful stay at Baia Blu - somewhere we'd like to come back to one day. The beach is a 5 minute walk and seems to be full of locals as opposed to tourists (like us :-)). The house is very private and has a beautiful view of the sea from the terrace. Make sure you know which of the apartments you are choosing as it might not be completely clear from the photos - the photos are of both apartments. They are both nice but the upstairs one has a better equipped kitchen and a bigger terrace with an even better view. Struggled to find Wi-Fi including in the beach cafe but actually Wi-Fi seems to be rare in that area generally. For the Brits, while it says 1 bedroom and indeed there are several beds available, the living and sleeping area is all one big room. That goes for both apartments and again, seems to be common for the area. We didn't find this a problem but just something to be aware of. The hosts are very friendly, attentive and accommodating.
