You need a car to stay here but we had one so had a fabulous time. Angela and Frank made us very welcome. The house is on the outskirts of the town which we loved. It's about a 15 min walk to town where you'll find a decent supermarket, bar and super pizzeria amongst other things. Great location to explore surrounding area which had some stunning beaches. We were a party of seven and there was plenty of accommodation and outside space. Also has a little pool which was great fun when we returned from our exploring. Would recommend.

  • Fabulous family-friendly villa in beautiful Sardinia near Alghero.

We had a wonderful 2 week holiday in June with our two children, 2 and 4 years old. The villa is thoughtfully designed - shutters, mosquito nets, air conditioning, very well equipped kitchen. The pool area is also lovely for a family, the pool was attentively cleaned regularly by Mario. It is deep for toddlers, but fine with supervision. There is adequate shade for even the hottest days, and a lovely swing in the tree. The BBQ area is great for the evenings as well. The location is great, plenty of beaches a short drive away, and Mario had thoughtfully provided umbrellas, beach chairs and toys. You do need a car for this villa, but that just means you can get around the area easily. We were concerned about plane noise, but this wasn't an issue and the occasional airplane we noticed was a feature for chat rather than an intrusion. The villa is on Mario's farm and we had apricots, figs & plums from the farm during our stay. Mario was very helpful, fixing wifi glitches and checking we had everything we needed for our stay. Do go up the hill behind for lovely views! We really loved our holiday and would highly recommend this villa as a place to stay, thanks Mario!
