A lovely, relaxing stay

5 of 5
The house is both comfortable and spacious, with 1950's charm and a huge terrace which offers both sunshine and shade for long lunches overlooking the sea. It is just steps from a very nice beach and a beach bar with great coffee and hot croissants for breakfast. We didn't have a rental car but the property is just minutes walk from the shops, a supermarket and numerous bars and restaurants of Isola Rossa, a small and charming seaside village, peopled by incredibly friendly and helpful locals. If you're looking for a relaxing time, doing very little but enjoying the sun, the sea and mountains of pasta a la vongole, you're in luck.

My wife and I rented this villa for a week. The house is situated on a farm between Nulvi and Tergu, set well back from the road. Being on a hill, the views are stunning and there's a viewing point in the garden from which you can see the coast. The rural views are great too. Daniele, the owner, was there to meet us and show us around the very clean and well-equipped accommodation. Everything we needed was there. The wifi is very effective and reliable. We ate outside on the large covered terrace for all meals taken at the house. Daniele visits every day to clean the pool and it's worth taking note of his recommendations for restaurants. We visited 2 (1 on 2 occasions). Daniele booked for us and we had good tables and felt especially looked-after at these places. Nulvi has a supermarket and local shops. The butchers in the old town supplied our barbecue meat and was very good. There is very little traffic in the area so getting around is easy. A car is essential. We have rented villas for over 30 years and this is one of the best value and well-prepared we have encountered. Thank you Daniele for making our stay pleasant and memorable.
