Better than we could have imagined - We are coming back for a longer stay

5 of 5
We were given very clear directions to the house, including a photograph of the entrance to the driveway. Manuel and Silvia were there to welcome us and showed us around the house then gave suggestions about things to see and do in the area over a glass of prosecco and some local cheese . The house and loggia outside are beautifully and imaginatively decorated and furnished and the kitchen well-stocked and equipped. Generous towels provided. We didn't really want to leave the house, but there is plenty to see and do in the area. The house can easily accommodate a large family or group of friends.

Fantastic scenery and location, authentically Italian and fabulous hosts.

We have recently returned from a wonderful holiday at Collaldra. This part of Italy was new for us and we fell in love with it. Jacky and Barry were wonderful hosts as was the housekeeper Anita and could advise us on just about everything. The location was idyllic and we all loved the large and scenic pool. The apartment was large with everything you needed with lots of space for everyone to enjoy outside. We would definitely recommend wild water swimming which you can do in the Dolomiti Friulane natural park, local lake was great for water sports and lots of walking on the doorstep. Venice is very accessible and surpassed our expectations. If you decide to go say hello to Bella who was a puppy we found that had been cruelly abandoned at the side of the road. Jacky and Barry have kindly adopted her otherwise she would have perished . I know you will enjoy your stay as much as our family did!
