  • Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay in Mariella's apartment. It was perfect for the three of us (2 adults and one child). The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and has everything you need and more. Mariella and Franco were there to greet us, provided all the information we needed and kept in touch throughout our stay. La Morra itself is a wonderful town and the apartment is perfectly situated in the old town. La Morra has everything you need. We also visited many other lovely towns in the region - Alba, Asti, Barolo, Barbaresco, Nieve etc. and whilst these were all beautiful we were glad we were staying in La Morra, it was perfect. I would recommend a visit to Piedmont if you want to experience wonderful scenery, food, wine and people and would definitely go back to Mariella's apartment and La Morra.

We had the most wonderful week here. The house suited us perfectly for us all (2 adults and 4 children ages 12,11,9&3) and the outdoor space was great too, lots of areas to enjoy sitting in the sun and also shade if preferred. We tended to have breakfast in the garden near the pool and spend more time at the front in the evenings near the barbecue. The pool was lovely with stunning views all around in total seclusion from neighbouring houses and even though there were few cars to be heard in the distance you can’t see any road from the house. The beds were all really comfy and the kitchen and sitting room were well equipped too (with the small exception of no potato peeler - no big deal!). We spent a lot of time at the house as the weather was so good but we did enjoy Alba and nearby Dogliani for drinks and ice-cream. Also a trip to Noli on the coast was well worth the visit. Would very much consider returning if we can.
