Casa Di Dante - perfect holiday setting

4 of 5
The property was spotlessly clean, charming and in a fabulous setting. Bedrooms were spacious, light and with air conditioning. Bathrooms were great with efficient showers and well equipped. As this is a traditional style Tuscan house, the downstairs was a little dark and with no air conditioning or additional fans, although we used the wonderful outdoor space as our living area. The kitchen is small but well equipped and functional and again, very clean. The pool is fabulous with views extending over the countryside. All in all a great place for the family with everything you could want, supermarkets are a short drive away and Vicopisano has restaurants and bars and is less than 10 minutes drive from the house. We loved it!

Wonderful property

5 of 5
This property is characterful and has a lovely garden from which the view is stunning. It was my favourite place to sit, particularly in the early morning with the first cup of coffee of the day and then in the evening with a glass of wine. Everything you need is provided including lots of information on the apartment and the area. It is well situated for visiting the hill towns, Pisa and Florence. We visited Volterra, San Gimignano, Sienna, Monteriggioni, Lucca and Pisa. We also did a couple of local walks and spent time by the fabulous infinity pool. We shopped at the local supermarket and enjoyed the fresh vegetables, fruit, cheeses, bread and fish. We went the last 2 weeks in June which are a bit cooler and less crowded than July/August. The inside of the apartment stays cool including the bedroom. Although we were only there for 2 weeks we felt like it was home and are missing it now!
