Simply stunning

5 of 5
The reaction of everyone in our party as we initially walked through the gates says it all really. The house and the views just took our breath away. We just could not believe we were staying in a place as beautiful as this. The house has been lovingly restored, there really isn't anything more you could wish for. Every little detail has been so thought through by the owners, this really was appreciated by all. The beautiful pool and pool house was our favourite place- and where we spent the majority of our time. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back.

Amazing stay. Home away from home

5 of 5
My husband and I visited the house with two friends last August for two weeks. We had been recommended the house as a great location to stay to visit Umbria. We usually stay in 5 star hotels and were immediately impressed. The house was stunning and its tranquil location set amongst beautiful gardens is exquisite Carole welcomed us on arrival and made us feel extremely welcome. We arrived late and were so grateful to Carole as she had arranged some shopping. I remember waking the next morning and taking breakfast on the terrace. Such a beautiful location Day trips to surrounding towns were intertwined with lazy days spent lounging at the pool and walking through the gardens and olive grove. One evening Carole arranged for a chef and pianist to visit the house. This was a surprise for my husband who had just retired. A wonderful occasion enjoyed by all We both love art and it was a real treat to be able see the Madonna del Parto by Piero della Francesca and also his exquisite frescoes in San Francesco Church in Arezzo. The Burri museums in Citta di Castello are also excellent and well Worth a visit. We have fond memories of Casa Sant Anna. It's a wonderful location, a beautiful architect designed house combing modern with old. My husband and I agreed. It was better than a five star hotel as it combined the luxuries of that with the familiarity and comfort of a home. Carole was a great host too, very knowledgeable and we are looking forward to returning next year
