Fantastic property, Perfect hosts

5 of 5
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Simona and Roberto we're the perfect hosts. The vine yard is in the perfect location to explore Florance and rest of Tuscany. The apparent we stayed in was finished to a very high standard with a real attention to detail. The views from the garden are some of the best in the area. My wife and I would highly recommend this property . Simona and Roberto could not have been more helpful from telling the best ways to visit Florance to helping us to change a tyre on the car when we had a puncture. If you visit this area you can't go wrong staying here.

Peace and quiet in the Tuscan Hills

4 of 5
La Ghiandaia is a peacful place in a beautiful location. Silvia and her family are friendly and helpful hosts, they could not have been kinder. We visited the annual wine festival in Greve in Chianti thanks to her suggestion and enjoyed a day surrounded by real Italian life rather than tourists which was great. It makes a good base in central Tuscany. If visiting Florence consider travelling from Figline Valdarno by train. It is much easier than driving and trying to park especially as the station is very close to a lot of the main sites in the historic heart of the city. The views from our apartment were stunning - even on the day we watched a spectacular thunder storm roll around the hills in front of us. A place to really get away from the hurly burly of city life.
