A holiday rental home in Castiglioncello is a wonderful choice for a Tuscan holiday

Castiglioncello is a gorgeous Tuscan village with lush, green landscapes and beaches that sits just outside the village limits. The location makes it an ideal choice for those who enjoy activities in the out of doors, particularly spending time at the beach. Vineyards, art galleries and historical sites are some other options available for those on holiday to Castiglioncello.

Also, stop a local resident and ask for some advice about where to get the most authentic, best local food.

Fantastic! Picturesque views in a quiet location. Lovely renovated farmhouse with excellent facilities. Have recommend the farmhouse to several people and always one of the first pictures we show to people. Patricia was an excellent host who was always available, but left us to enjoy our holiday.

Fabulous Family Apartment 500m from the sea

5 of 5
Fabulous apartment 500m from beaches, 300m from La Pineta and train station with excellent access to all parts of Tuscany. Owners who give every guest a warm welcome, a lovely start- up pack, an exceptionally clean villa with just about every kitchen utensil and gadget you might ever need, (including a coffee machine complete with pods) and excellent Wi-Fi too, what’s not to like?? The apartment is on the ground floor near the beaches - we walked there every day, twice per day; some little shops are diagonally opposite (a home baker's for fresh bread and patisseries every morning and a little general store); a secluded back garden, complete with garden furniture, excellent wifi and lovely lighting offered us a delightful space for dinners 'al fresco'; and a light and airy veranda to the front of the property enabled us to enjoy our evening aperativi after a day at the beach. Fabrizio and Claudia, the owners who live on the top floor offered support where necessary but otherwise left us in complete privacy. This was our 3rd visit to Castiglioncelllo and a first to this fantastic apartment. I have already spoken to Fabrizio about returning later on in the season with my girlfriends and about visiting next year with extended family. It was delightful meeting you, Fabrizio and Claudia Best wishes Pat

Great location and lovely apartment

5 of 5
Lovely clean, modern and spacious apartment close to the sea. Sonia is very friendly and welcoming. We stayed there during the early part of the season so quite quiet, but the annual Fish Festival took place whilst we were there which livened things up, although the fireworks were cancelled due to high winds. Pleasant walks along the coast. Restaurants and bars within easy reach. As there is a railway station in the town we took an inexpensive trip to Florence, which was well worth it. Pisa is, of course, a must and didn't disappoint. The food and drink was fairly priced despite given the locations, we were not ripped off. A short drive to the sandy beach at Vada. Recommend the area for a more relaxed, quieter holiday. Definitely recommend the apartment.
