We stayed at the beautiful Trulli di Anetta for our Honeymoon for two weeks in late June / early July. We could not have found a more beautiful place to stay. The Trulli is a wonderful building, modernised enough to be luxuriously comfortable but retaining its characterful charm. The pool and gardens were perfect for relaxing in the mornings before venturing out to discover Puglia and a great place to sit and eat in the evening after a a long lunch and a wander around one of the many lovely towns and villages in the area. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

Relaxation and Comfort at Masseria Casalicchio

                                5 of 5
We spent a week at the Masseria, a family party of six adults. The Masseria is set in the midst of olive groves and vineyards, quiet and secluded. It has been beautifully restored with all the facilities that you could require, super comfortable beds and a colourful garden with lemon trees, oleanders and agapanthus, all in flower. There is a large outside shaded area with tables and chairs and a splendid pool very carefully maintained by Darren. On arrival we were met and guided to the Masseria by Darren, who with his wife Donatella produced the most delicious, home cooked meal of authentic local fare; a wonderful way to start our holiday. Darren was very easy to contact and full of useful suggestions of good local restaurants, markets and other places to visit. In particular, on his suggestion, we had a day out at Torre Guacheto, an unspoilt nature reserve with an endless curved sandy beach, beautiful swimming and walking. Other highlights were the local medieval town of Conversano, the seaside resort of Polignano a Mare and the partly excavated ruins at Egnazia. The Masseria is rural and very quiet, an ideal restorative after busy city life, with lazy, sunny days of swimming and reading in a beautiful setting. Darren and his wife were very thoughtful and kind and added greatly to the pleasure of our stay. Two of the party have coeliac disease and Darren and Dona could not have been more helpful in providing delicious food they could eat safely and suggesting local, "coeliac friendly" restaurants. We were very grateful for their understanding and efforts. We all had an excellent time at Masseria Casalicchio and could not recommend it more highly.

                                5 of 5
We had the pleasure of spending a week in late September in a fantastic location I Trulli D´oro as well as being an original place allows you to see hear and breathe the particularity of Puglia with its lands and its olive groves . This not only for guests from abroad, who do not know properly the territory but also for people like me that since years they do not have pleasure or chance to "dive" themselves in the rural place . In conclusion, a luxury location without falling into posh place !!! Congratulations also to the staff of Trulli & Dimore always available and professional . Note. I think that for stays of one week the cleaning lady should visit at least once in half of the week . Regards
