This is a fantastic apartment in a great location. My partner and I and 2 friends stayed here for a week, and found it an excellent base for exploring this lovely area, The property is roomy, light, easily big enough for 4 adults, and equipped and furnished to a very high standard. A special mention must go to the beds - so comfortable, some of the best sleep of my life, although, that could have been the mountain air. The private outside area is elevated and has pretty views over the village onto the lake and mountains beyond. we ate breakfast outside every morning. The village of Laglio has to be one of the best on Como, it is small and quiet, but with facilities. The apartment is situated right in the village centre, a 1 minute walk from a lakeside bar /cafe, and virtually next door to a small but well stocked food market. Despite this, it is so quiet at night. The larger town of Cernobbio is a short distance away. Nick, the owner, was very easy to deal with, good, prompt communications. He obviously knows the area, with suggestions and advice of what to do, and places to go, thanks Nick ! We had a fabulous week here, hope to return soon, and would recommend it very highly.

Amazing view. Great location. The owners are superhelpful and very very kind. The house is spotless, very cosy and has got everything you need (more than you need, actually). Best place I've stayed.

It was a dream come true--like living in a fantasy....

Overall: It was a dream come true--like living in a fantasy. Enjoyed Most: We loved the gardens, the view and, most of all, the kitchen where we spent a lot of time. The owners were most gracious and attentive. They made us feel as if the place were our own. Surrounding Area: It is located not far from the Villa d' Este, which is our favorite part of Lake Como--lush with beautiful villas and views. Nearby Events or Locales: Cernobbio is very nearby and within walking distance, if you are a good walker. I would suggest driving, however parking spaces can be difficult to find especially during peak hours and on the weekend. Taxis are readily available. Tips or Restaurants: The house, especially the kitchen, is very well equipped with everything needed, including hair dryers and an endless supply of towels. It also has wireless and complimentary Internet which works very well. Directions: We did use a GPS. The manager, who is very attentive and accessible, came by car to guide us in the first time. Check In Out: Check-in and out were simple and expedient. The owners and manager, who all live nearby, came over to familiarize us with the villa and property. Especially welcomed after a long drive was a refrigerator stocked with all sorts of delights--enough food for a week.
