  • Fantastic Location and great host
    5 of 5

This property is located in the heart of historical Rome. Several important sites are just walking distance from here. Lucia has been a fantastic host. Before we reached she arranged the cab from the airport on Christmas day, when it is not that easy to find public transportation. The apartment is well stocked with everything you need to cook. We made our daily trips to Campo di Fiori which is just steps away to find groceries and some really good restaurants. Also, there all kinds of tour books in the apartment and we found these really handy in deciding what to do next. We do our trips impromptu, because it is more fun, and these books helped a lot. I got introduced to one of Rick Steves books while here and I must say, I will use his books as my primary reference from now on ! As others have mentioned, the shower is a bit on the smaller side and the heater is a bit spotty. But these were minor issues. Lucia is very responsive even to the smallest of issues and is a fantastic host. If I travel to Rome again, this is the place I would stay.

  • Great location & flat - but noisy
    4 of 5

I stayed in the flat for 3 nights with my parents. The location is second-to-none and couldn’t really be any better. The flat is clean amd has everything you would expect. Also check-in was easy. My only suggestion for improvement would be that it’s really noisy. Since there’s the market on camp dei fiori every day, the merchants start at 6am and from then onwards it’s hard to sleep even with ear plugs! The single bedroom in the back doesn’t have that issue but it’s also super noisy from the neighbouring flat as well as some water pipes that go right past. Whilst it’ll be hard to improve things in the second bedroom, one could work on the double and soundproof the windows.
