A 5-star experience in Florence

5 of 5
Rita's place in Florence, and dealing with Rita were superb. We are a family of 5 and it met all of our needs thoroughly. The home was spacious, like-new, modern and well lit, with plenty of natural sunshine. Located about 20 min walk from the centro (Duomo), we preferred it to being directly in the center, particularly, if you have family and are staying for an extended period of time. It provided greater space for 5 and a more authentic interaction with the city and its people. Behind us was a large park and the Museum Stibbert (great for kids); next door were all the conveniences of a supermarket (much better prices than the Centro!), train, cafe/bar, butcher, barber, and a top-notch bakery. Another pleasant surprise was finding a street market across from the apartment, every morning, where we'd purchase fresh fruit, vegetables or gloves for a chilly day. The home is spotless (clean). The kitchen is abundantly equipped for any meal preparation you could need, and everything works perfectly. The WiFi was the BEST of any place during our trip throughout Italy. Strong and consistent for work and school needs. Communication with Rita was immediate and professional. Richard greeted us at check-in and was available for any needs. Note that this is central Florence and that parking is a bit of a challenge - for the most part, parking in the center is restricted to residents. However, we walked everywhere and never used our car in the city. We stored our car at a well lit, secure, central garage about 10 minute walk away and used it for day trips to Sienna or Pisa, etc... It was less expensive than paying for street parking. I would highly recommend this property, and would stay again without hesitation. Rita- thank you for helping my family's stay in Florence be so memorable (and comfortable)! Deni C. & Family Toronto, Canada
