This is our 3rd time staying in this beautiful villa ( and won’t be our last ) . Each year the owners have made new improvements despite us thinking it just could not be improved! It is extremely well equipped if you are wanting to cook and enjoy the food in the beautiful dining room or in several of the outdoor eating areas. Our 10 & 7 year olds never tire of the fun to be had in the pool and due to the very private location there are no concerns about their whoops and screams of delight! Despite the idyllic, peaceful setting of the villa it is only a short drive to the coast and numerous bars and restaurants. Thankyou once again Rita for letting out your beautiful home.

Lovely secluded farmhouse in a scenic setting. Agro-tourism. Very nice, hospitable family. Facilities good - but don’t plan to run a business on the WiFi. A safe environment for the kids. The pool is refreshing. Lots of wildlife seen in immediate area from boar to deer to wild tortoise. If going in Summer insect repellent and plug ins are highly recommended. Central location for a days drive out to Pisa, Sienna or Florence or the beach. We had a great two weeks there with the kids and can highly recommend. Local villages - Ribolla: Cappuccino at the bakery at far end of town (just past T junction) - btw one can dump rubbish in a skip nearby. Fruit and veg shop great and there is a supermarket (street market Tuesday). Castellaccia : very small but has a great friendly little restaurant ‘Osteria Borgo Pesca’ specialising in authenticate simple Tuscan cuisine. Popular with the locals.
