  • Very well equipped, comfortable - PERFECT!

Mary, thank you so much for letting us stay, your pie was amazing, it didn't last very long, the boys all loved it. Loved the apartment, colourful, comfortable and extremely well equipped for every eventuality! Car was safe on the driveway and we ate at home most evenings and enjoyed fresh coffee every morning. It was in a quiet street near shops and restaurants, we could not fault it. The location was perfect for Venice, Verona and Cittadella, a beautiful walled city, all within an hour or so. We also enjoyed Padua, about 10 minute drive from the apartment, and the Auto Moto d'Epoca car show and jumble, our main reason for visiting - we would definitely recommend it for all petrol-heads. Would not hesitate to go back to this apartment in the future 😊

  • Nice house in great location for touring Veneto and catching the train to Venice

Wally and Cesare are wonderful, accommodating hosts. Although we arrived late (9 pm), Wally agreed to meet us at the house with no extra charge, unlike other property owners who said they would have charged extra for late check ins, and then still took the time to explain to us the house and places to eat and shop in Noale. There are several restaurants, takeaways and the nearest supermarket is a 10 minutes walk from the house. The house comfortably accommodates 5 adults. Of the three windows at the front of the house, the one on the right is the family bathroom, the two on the left are the front double bedroom with en-suite. Behind this is a single bedroom with a window to the side of the house. The kitchen area is in the middle of the house with a side window and then at the back is the living area with windows to the back and stairs up to a double bed sleeping area. This area is still private as you need to go half way up the stairs before you can see the bed. The house was very clean and had suitable cooking implements. We had a hire car and had no trouble finding a parking space in the car park at the front of the house, which is free. The walk to the train station is 5 minutes from where you can buy return tickets to Venice in the cafe at the station or by using a self service machine. I would recommend using the cafe. Each journey was 3.4 euros and takes 30 minutes directly to Venice Santa Lucia from where we caught the No 1 Water Bus to San Marco. As well as going to Venice on two days, we also drove around the Veneto and spent a day in each of Verona, Sirmione and Lake Garda and the Dolomites. Each of these were about a 1.5 to 2 hour drive from Noale using the autostrada. The drive to Marco Polo airport is about 45 minutes and you don't need to take an autostrada. We would highly recommend this house and if we did holiday again in this part of Italy would choose to stay here.
