Lovely apartment near the beach

5 of 5
The apartment is very nice, big, has all utensils you need and is only a few steps away from the beach. You can park your car in the yard and there’s a lift in the building too, which can help to transport heavy bags and cases. There are enough stores and supermarkets around (big and small supermarkets like Conad or Carefour, bakeries and cake shops, drugstore Iper Soap). It was a bit noisy (cars), but you can’t avoid that if you want to live near the beach in Bordighera, because the main street goes along the beach. If you want to spend your holiday somewhere more quiet, you should look for a place less close to the beach. You can go to many places from Bordighera: We were in Menton (by bicycle, 17km one way) and Ospedaletti, Sanremo, Arma di Taggia are all connected with a busline, but you can get there by bicycle too. There’s also a bikeway between Ospedaletti and San Lorenzo al Mare, which is 24km long. Matteo recommended us to go to Borgo Dolceacqua. It was great! We went there with our bicycles again and found out that there was another a bikeway with signs which goes all the way until Dolceacqua (but there’s also a part without asphalt), meaning that it’s a good opportunity for families with children to make a trip (about 7km one way). We’d rent this apartment again! Danke, Matteo!
