Whatever your passion or pastime, you can be sure that you can pursue it in the area around Bonifati. If diving is your thing, then you will be pleased to know that there are a number of wrecks along the coast that you can make dives to. In fact, the number of activities that you could do, is probably only limited by the amount of time that you are on holidays in Bonifati.

Places to Visit on Holiday in Bonifati, Italy

Bonifati can be considered as divided into two sections, which are the historical centre, and the sea front area with its marina. The historical centre makes for at least a day spent wandering around, although it may be better to take evening walks there before or after a meal. A visit to the Calvario Church, the Annunziata Church and the Convent ruins is also recommended, as is a walk around the ruins of the Medieval castle. There is also a museum in town, and further afield, any number of trips can be made to discover hidden villages and other little known gems.

The region has the most stable weather with almost no extremes. There are no seasonal thunderstorms, crazy oppressive heat or freezing cold spells. Instead, the weather is comfortable all the year round. During the winter, the average temperatures in the coldest months rarely dip below 14 degrees Celsius, whilst in the peak of summer, the two hottest months of July and August may top out at 30 degrees, but feel so much cooler because of the gentle breeze.

Beautiful property

5 of 5
We had a great fortnight here with our 14 and 12 year old. The property is spotlessly clean and an architectural work of art! The bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen / living space is very nice. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics you need. Could probably do with a few more bits and pieces (a jug, another serving bowl etc) but the full size fridge and freezer is a real asset. What makes Villa Blue special is the huge roof terrace and outside shower. The views are breath taking and we spent much of our time relaxing and reading up there. The pool is lovely - it's an adequate size and if you get it to yourselves it's a real bonus. A car is essential to explore the region and the private parking at Villa Blue is a great luxury. We explored much of the coastline and whilst the beaches lack golden sand, they make up for it with stunning, turquoise waters that are truly breathtaking. The property would benefit from some local information / leaflets on places to visit, local markets and restaurants as well as details of supermarkets as they varied hugely in their quality. Giuseppe and his family were very gracious hosts and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this property.
