Well had a lovely welcome from the property owner on our arrival, making sure everything was perfect for us. Barn of Vignanova is set on a hillside surrounded by trees, very beautiful area and so quiet, very relaxing and calming. We spent a lot of our week here just enjoying our surroundings and exploring the forest. The barn is full of character and personality, we loved the kitchen table, glass topped wooden door and using doors for decoration. There is a spiral staircase taking you to the very spacious bedroom with a huge double bed and very cute children’s beds above. Also, a little log burner if the evenings are a bit chilly. Montieri is a short drive from the barn where there is a bar, pizzeria, bakery, deli and a supermarket. Massa Marittima is a nice place to visit, plenty of eating and ice cream and Siena, about an hours drive, is definitely a place to visit. A big thank you to our hosts for their hospitality and kindness making our holiday truly memorable.

This converted bungalow is immaculately kept, well equipped and has perfect little extras. Anita and Hubert are among the most friendly, warm and welcoming people we have every had the pleasure of meeting, but without being intrusive. Upon arrival they helped us settle in by showing us around the bungalow; explaining how everything worked. They have an array of herbs which guests are welcome to help themselves to - wonderful for any Italian cooking you may want to do. Their help and advice during our stay was incredibly helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. I cannot recommend this wonderful little bungalow enough.
