                                  Magnificent!

The property is as beautiful as the pictures suggest and you could not hope for a more peaceful location. We could have easily not left the grounds for the entire week! It has that home from home feel. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need (we stocked up at the coop in Sansepolcro). There is a large TV upstairs with a DVD player and some movies plus lots of games, the wifi is a decent speed too. We took some movies and a lead to plug the ipad into the TV. The pool is a good size and gets the sun all day (when its out!) and is now gated so is child safe. Plenty of towels are provided. One night was a bit chilly but we put the heating on (modern central heating) for a couple of hours and the house heated up instantly. The pizza place in Anghiari was great with English speaking waiters but everywhere we visited was very friendly and with our non existent Italian the locals were very patient and helpful to understand us. Its worth exploring the local towns as the restaurants are so cheap. We can not recommend this house highly enough, the owners and caretaker are very helpful and responsive and the house, pool and grounds are in very good order in a stunning location. We would love to go back!

The house is exactly as described, furnished to a high standard, spotlessly clean and all with a pool with a view. Great outside space ideal for large family groups to socialise after a long days hiking or taking in the beautiful countryside.

                                  Spectacular villa!

I'd seen the photos but nothing could prepare me for the beauty of this villa. Looking out over the Tuscan hills, surrounded by dozens of walks through wildflowers and Tuscan wilderness, a terrace that was perfect for breakfasts, long and lazy lunches, and watching the sun go down with a Campari spritz in hand. The abundance of fig trees and blackberries around the property were fun for kids and adults alike, and the pool was hard to draw yourself away from - plenty of lounges to loll on and big umbrellas to give shade. The villa itself is well equipped, spacious and beautifully appointed - it features all the little things that make the difference when renting a holiday house - plenty of crockery, beautiful linen napkins, and lots of gorgeous glassware - every meal felt like a special occasion. I'd definitely recommend day trips in the area to local towns and restaurants, but you could just as easily stay at the villa and be very, very happy. The Cantucci biscuits from the little deli in nearby town Manzi are a must! I can't wait to return one day - it's a magical spot.
