Beautiful Home for a fabulous and relaxing holiday

5 of 5
Myself and seven members of my family stayed one week and found the property to be everything that we could have hoped for. The views are beautiful, everything so quiet and the surrounding area wonderful to explore and hike. The layout and amenities are perfect for groups. An open air kitchen and living area, huge dining table for big dinners, the kitchen was stocked with everything we could want for preparing meals; in the living areas four nice sofas, bathrooms plenty of towels, comfortable beds, beautiful garden....I could go on and on. Trust me, if you stay here you will NOT be disappointed. We weren't able to use the pool due to the time of year (January) but in the summer time this would be a great feature. It was very pleasant to arrive and find some local cheese and wine that was left for us to enjoy by the owners. We were extremely pleased with our choice and were more than satisfied with it. Thank you Donata for a fabulous holiday! Smits Family

Lovely house in fascinating area

5 of 5
We had a fantastic stay at Gabrielle's house. Our party of 8 adults, 4 kids and a baby settled in quickly with everything we needed close at hand. It doesn't feel like a 'holiday home', more a beautifully equipped family home that we were able to enjoy. The area itself is very quiet, and all the better for it. The village has the essentials and more, including an informal restaurant serving awesome truffle pizzas for 5 euros. Beat that Pizza Express. But venture a bit further and there are lots of lovely towns to visit, or even head up to the lakes in less than 2 hours on empty roads. (You do need a car to make the most of the area.) Roberto looks after the house, and was helpful and available: can't ask for more than that. There's no aircon but that didn't bother us - lots of windows to open. Only real 'watch' would be the mozzies: they're vicious. Go equipped. Really recommend this place for a family or a group holiday.

Idyllic rural accommodation, friendly and helpful hosts

5 of 5
Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in this beautiful property. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for our fantastic hosts. It's in a lovely rural location and very peaceful but closeby to play park, grocery shop and restaurants in the nearby town Lerma. We enjoyed day trips to Acqui Terme, Genoa, the lakes, Alessandria and enjoyed the mix of different scenery etc. Lots of space outdoors for the kids (aged 3 and 18 months) to run off energy. Would definitely recommend it to others wanting to get a flavour of Italy.
