We had a really great time staying here, the views are absolutely stunning. It was so dreamy to wake up there every morning and have have breakfast looking out over the bay. Perfect too for watching a stunning sunset and the stars at night will take your breath away (just make sure you have some bug spray!). The cottage was very comfortable, the mattress was good and so slept well all week. It did lack a few things in the kitchen such as spoons (only had teaspoons, forks and knives for some reason). We purchased a tea towel and a sponge for cleaning up as they were absent too but they were just little things that were easy to purchase for our stay. Check in was easy and friendly. I would recommend a small‘ish size car if visiting as navagating your way up and down from the property is not for the faint of heart. We would have really appreciated some sort of welcome/information folder that you usually receive with holiday lets as we had no idea what to do with the bins or where to find things mentioned such as the walks in the area and steps down to the bay, so perhaps this could be considered for future guests. It’s a great place overall and I would highly recommend staying here if visiting the area!

Small apartment with huge terrace overlooking the main harbour. Great for watching the comings and goings of the fishermen and the ferries as well as the huge yachts. The property is up a very steep, narrow hill and then a steep drive then about 60 steps, you need to be fit. The property was very clean. It’s quite a walk down into the harbour area and to the nicer restaurants which are in the next harbour, and it’s all uphill on the way back, but you don’t get the view without being up hill! Very little information about where supermarket was/ local bus/best restaurants etc in the apartment and we only saw the owner for about 5 minutes (she lives in the flat below). However, tHe ladies at the local tourist information (just past the petrol station in the harbour area) were very helpful and told us everything we needed to know. There are several very small beaches you can walk to and there are a couple of fab restaurants among the 60 or so in the area. The bus goes into Orbetello and you can change there to get to Porte Ercole and the beaches at Feniglia. We had a great time there and the weather was fabulous.
