Comfortable Cottage with excellent views

5 of 5
Well maintained, beautifully clean and comfortable cottage with everything we needed for our week on the Beara peninsula. Lovely welcome from Margaret for whom nothing had been too much trouble before our arrival. Our online shop from the Supervalue supermarket in Kenmare was a success and arrived minutes after us. We enjoyed excellent walks in the surrounding area in spite of the variable weather. Had 3 super evening meals out in Kenmare. Everyone we met was very welcoming and keen to strike up conversations. The only negative thing about our stay in the area were the midges who prevented us from sitting out in the evening.

Definitely Home Away Home atmosphere. Excellent

Well maintained with all essentials required for self catering accommodation. Have been staying in this property for the past thirty years with an annual visit of minimum 15 days stay in June. The property has three bed rooms, one living room, a kitchen with dining area, two bathrooms and is fully furnished with bath towels, hand towels, toiletries, cooking ware, crockery and cutlery. Always enjoyed our stay with the hostess constantly checking on our day to day needs. The unit has two refrigerators, one good microwave and a good electric cooking range and oven. Beautiful scenery from the living room looking in to the Dunmanus Bay and very quiet location on a hill. Very close to Ahakista Bar and Arundels Restaurant for good food. Also close to Bridgeview House Restaurant in Kilcrohane just about 5 kilometers from the cottage for a family home made meals served every day.Definitely recommend to families with children.
