Fantastic location, great house

4 of 5
Really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful sea views from the master bedroom. The reception rooms were really spacious. We barely used the living room as most of our time was in the kitchen. Kitchen was bright and airy and well stocked plus has a dishwasher which is great when on holidays. High chair and plastic cutlery and bowls were very handy with a toddler. The location was really central in Dunmore East. Minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. Also there are 2 shower rooms, a bathroom and wc downstairs in a very handy utility room with a washing machine. The host answered all our questions quickly and was very helpful. We would certainly go back.

Outstanding bungalow with views over The Colloigan estuary, in a quiet cul-de-sac.

5 of 5
The bungalow is spacious, with the large living area facing south, giving excellent views over the estuary through the large patio windows. The kitchen has all modern appliances, a delight to work in. It has 2 large double bedrooms, and I mean large, one is ensuite. The other bedroom is also a double. There is a shower over the bath in the ensuite and a shower cubicle in the other bathroom. It has a washer and dryer in the utility. The bugalow is beautifully decorated through out. It was a pleasure to stay here. But that was only half the story. Pauline had been in touch before we arrived and asked us what our interests were. When we arrived there was an extensive array of literature of all the local amenities that we may be interested in. Also a personal crib sheet with other information that may be helpful, to make our stay more enjoyable. Pauline was also in touch during the week to make sure everything was ok and that we did not have any problems. The bungalow was about a 20 min walk, the scienic way, from the centre of Dungarvan. 15 minutes the more direct route. Dungarvan is large enough to have most things you need. It has a Dunnes store, the Eurospar has a large selection of fresh produce. The bungalow is an ideal base for using The Waterford Greenway. It is also an ideal base for touring the Copper coast, Comeragh, Monavullagh and Knockmealdown mountains. We have been to Ireland quite a few times, but this was the first time we had been to this area.We found it really friendly right from the welcome pack provide by Pauline, the scones and soda bread were addictive. To talking to the locals in the pub. All in all a wonderful holiday even with the odd thunder storm thrown in. Pauline and John thanks for a wonderful stay.
